Wairau Valley Area
The Wairau Valley is to the west of Blenheim in Marlborough. The small township is located just 26km out of Renwick, on state highway 63.
The small countray town ship has a pub, school, church and town hall, it is surrounded by live style blocks, farm land and the every growing vineyards.

Wairau Valley is also home to a fault line which runs parallel to State Highway 63.
Wairau Valley has the Wairau river running thorugh it and opens up into the Wairau plans in which Renwick and Blenheim are located on.

With in Wairau Valley you will find locations like, Onamalutu Domian,North bank and the Mt Richmond Forest park.
You will also find Red Hill which boarders the Nelson Marlborough region, as part of the Richmond Ranges.

If you carry on up the Wairau Valley it will not take you long to cross over to the Nelson/Tasman region at the Nelson Lakes and home to the Rainbow Ski feild, only a short 1.5hr drive.
